Network Statistics Tool Description
Network Statistics provides information about the
network interfaces and the TCP/UDP connection endpoint table on
your computer.Windows Vista compatibility:
Fully functional as of v10.50.
This tool has two major sections.
- Network Info tree showing Statistics by
Protocol (IP, ICMP, TCP, UDP) broken down in detail.
It also shows details about your interfaces including type,
IP address, address mask, MTU, MAC address, adapter status and
speed, plus a number of packet cumulative totals. These numbers
are updated by pressing the Refresh button or using the right
click menu.
- TCP/UDP Connection Endpoint List.
This list shows the status of ports being used on your computer
with the port number, IP address (TCP-local and remote, UDP
- local only) a description and the port state (LISTENING, ESTABLISHED,
etc.). Windows 2003/XP/2000 also shows a column with the local
process name associated with that port (the full process executable
path can be optionally shown) and process ID. Right click for
process executable file properties. Any This list is updated
by pressing the Refresh button or using the right click menu.
Built-in TCP Connection Killer - ESTABLISHED TCP connections
can be terminated by double-click or right click menu selection.
