The Network Interfaces
- Wireless tool provides information about the operating
system recognized wireless network interfaces. It
shows all active wireless interfaces, the current
connection information for each interface and shows
a list of available wireless network access points.
Connection attributes include Profile Name, SSID,
Access Point MAC Address, RSSI, Link Quality and
Interface State. The BSSID (mac address) of access
points is shown even when you are not connected
to the access point.
This tool is designed to
show information about your wireless 802.11
interface, current connections and available access
points. It shows adapter information, detailed
connection information and available wireless
networks.
Shows SSID, profile,
access point mac address of both connected and
unconnected (also known as BSSID). It also shows
signal quality as both percentage and dBm. The
security algorithms are also shown.
